Privacy notice

ChennaiFloods.info keeps the account details needed for sign-in and the flood reports people choose to add. Public reports never show email addresses or phone numbers.

The live map uses Google Maps, and location searches are sent to Google Places through our server. Google may receive technical information about the search. You can read the Google Privacy Policy. Do not enter personal information into location search.

We ask for your browser location only after you select “My location.” We use it to move the map. ChennaiFloods.info does not save it. A flood report shows the flooded place, not the person’s home or current location.
